Comcast Cares Day

April 22, 2017 @ 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

| Free

Join Legacy Parks Foundation and the Appalachian Mountain Bike Club for Comcast Cares Day, where more than 200 volunteers will help spruce up Baker Creek Preserve! Together we will remove invasive plants, build benches, improve trails, and leave this popular outdoor adventure destination looking better than ever.

The Baker Creek Preserve is the outdoor adventure destination in Knoxville’s Urban Wilderness. The park features eight different trials for all abilities of hiking and biking and a beautiful natural playspace for kids of all ages. You can help to expand the opportunities to get out and play by volunteering for a variety of projects:

  • Repairing and building natural surface trails
  • Removing invasive species along Baker Creek
  • Building benches for the new South Doyle Middle School Playspace
  • Planting trees and native vegetation
  • Picking up trash along the trail and adding roads

PLEASE REGISTER* to join us on April 22nd from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The more people register, the more Comcast gives back to our parks and trails, so be sure to sign up!
