Earth Month

April showers bring May flowers, and May brings final exams. More than simply marking the end of classes (Friday, April 28th!), though – April is Earth Month. Dating back to 1970, both Earth Month and Earth Day (this year falling on Saturday, April 22nd) have become times on which we focus our energies on our environment and the things that we can do to make it better. Here at UT Knoxville, we take our Earth Months seriously – filling the days and weeks with events, activities, and programs all promoting the work we do year-round to Make Orange Green. Take a look at some of the events you can take part in here on campus and in the greater Knoxville community.
